Is this course purely online?
Yes, the course is primarily online. However, you can take it offline at our office but it is the same course material with your instructor. We recommend taking it online so you can study at your own pace.
How long do I have access to the course?
You have access for 365 days after purchase. After that, you will need to pay for the renewal course which is provided to members at a discounted rate.
What do the courses consist of?
The courses consist of various sections such as Safety Training, Care Training, and Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Training to help you get a great understanding of the expectations that come with being a caregiver.
Do I need to take the course all at once?
No. You can take the course at your own pace. You can login and work on the course and come back when you are prepared to continue the course.
Why is there a renewal course?
We have a renewal course in place to give our students the opportunity to receive continuous education. It is required for you to take continuous education to keep your certifications updated.
How many times can I take the exam?
We won’t charge you extra to take the exam again. You can take the exam as many times as you need to pass. The exam can be taken online or in-person.
How will I receive my Certificate after I pass my exam?
You will be able to view your certificate on the course page. You can also download the certificate from that page.
What grade is required to pass the exam?
You will need to pass with a grade of 80% or higher to pass the exam and to receive your certificate.
Can I view the course information to learn what skills are taught?
Do I need a high school diploma in order to take the course?
No. This course is available to anyone.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. If you work for an agency, then we are open to other payment options. In this case, please contact us.
Login & Registration Questions
How do I login after purchasing the course (individual)?
First, check your inbox. You will receive an email from us titled [Caregiving Training Institute] Login Details. If it’s not in your primary inbox, then please check your spam folder. Second, create your password. You will need to click the link in the email message in order to create your password. Once you set your password, click Log in. Alternatively, go to our website’s main menu and under Profile select Log In. You will be directed to our login form and enter your credentials.
How do I login after an agency purchased a course on my behalf?
In this case, please contact your agency regarding your login details. We may have submitted it to them.
I don’t remember my password. What can I do?
In this case, you can reset your password. Please go to our Lost Password webpage to reset your password. You will receive an email from us to process this request. Please check your spam folder if necessary.
Do you provide agency/bulk pricing?
Yes but please contact us to provide a price that suits your needs. You can send us an email at caregivingtraininginstitute(at)gmail.com or through our contact form.
How does agency/bulk pricing work?
You can purchase a bulk amount of our course accounts for your employees. You can choose to redeem them whenever you need to and they do not expire. The redemption of a single course account will expire after 365 days of request. The remaining, unused accounts will not expire but will expire after 365 days upon activation.
Can we share an agency purchased account with others?
No. If you choose to give another employee access to an account not in their name, then they will be able to access the content but they will not be able to receive the Certificate.
